The former Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Cornwall died in the crash near Penryn on Wednesday.
Jeremy Tetley died after his car collided with a tipper vehicle on the B3292 on Wednesday. The road was closed for 6 hours.
61-year-old Bridget Toy, from Penryn, was also killed in the collision. Her husband has today paid tribute to her:
Police release age of one of the fatalities
A 61-year-old woman from Penryn was one of two people who died in an accident on the B3292 at Treluswell on Wednesday.
A man from Truro was also killed.
His age is unknown.
Another man, as also from Penryn, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to Treliske.
The driver of the lorry involved suffered minor scrapes and was treated at the scene by ambulance staff.
The victims have not yet been named.

Investigation into fatal crash in Cornwall
Investigations are continuing in Cornwall after two people were killed in a road crash yesterday afternoon.
The collision, involving a car and a lorry, happened on the B3292 at Treluswell near Penryn.
The road was closed for several hours and put diversions in place at the Treluswell roundabout.
Next of kin have been informed.
It's the second major accident in the county in just 24 hours after two cyclists were killed on the A30 on Tuesday morning.

Double fatality in Penryn car crash
A man and a woman have died at the scene of a two vehicle traffic collision near Penryn today.
It happened on the B3292 at Treluswell near Penryn. The air ambulance together with land ambulances attended. The accident was reported at just before 1pm.
Diversions are currently in place at Treluswell roundabout and also at the junction of Browns Hill with West Street.
The road is expected to be closed into the evening and police are advising motorists to avoid the area until further notice.
