A bakery in Minehead is hoping to bake the world's biggest sponge cake today.
The five feet wide giant is part of plans by the Royal Bath and West Show to celebrate its 150th anniversary later this month.
It's quite an operation - it needs more than 500 eggs and will have to be assembled in sections.
Show hopes to bake the world's biggest Victoria sponge
Organisers of the Royal Bath and West Show are planning a world-beating Victoria sponge to help celebrate its 150th show.
It will measure five feet across. The picture shows just one section of the sponge being baked in a giant oven in Minehead as part of a trial run.
It will take 500 eggs to make. All the ingredients come from exhibitors at this year's show at the end of May.
