It seems Kukeña the baby gorilla is more interested in a piece of rope than the arrival of Visit England boss James Beresford to Bristol Zoo. Yet his presence has brought in many of the visitors that have made the attraction such a success this summer and prompted the visit.

Bristol Zoo had the highest number of visitors for over a decade this summer. The Zoo bucked the national trend, as the wet weather in July, August and September, saw poor turnouts for many other attractions. Their success has prompted a visit from James Beresford, the CEO of Visit England.
