Olympic torchbearer sells socks on eBay
An Olympic torchbearer has sold her socks on eBay to shame those who flogged their torches.15 year old Evie Fairman carried the flame through Bodmin in Cornwall last week.
The teenager, born with half a heart, says she'd never sell her torch and instead auctioned the socks she wore during the run.
They attracted 14 bids and eventually sold for £38, which will be donated to Evie's chosen charity, Little Hearts Matter.
Tourism Minister pays tribute to South West for 'perfect start' to Olympic Torch relay
The Tourism Minister has paid tribute to the West Country for giving the Olympic Torch relay the perfect start to its tour of the UK.
Now in its sixth day, 768 torchbearers have carried the flame more than 700 miles throughout the South West.
John Penrose described the scenes in towns, villages and cities as a great advert for the UK and the games. It's estimated the media coverage has brought more than 5 and a half million pounds to the region during the torch's visit.

Edwards makes emotional return to Ilfracombe
Residents of Ilfracombe were treated to the sight of former Olympian Jonathan Edwards making an emotional return to his home town yesterday. The Olympic Gold medalist fought back the tears as he was reunited with friends and family he hadn't seen in years.

Torch leaves Taunton
The Olympic Torch has left Taunton on the fourth day of its journey through the west country. Crowds turned out bright and early to see the flame head off through South Somerset carried by Judy Gaden whose son Tom was killed in Afghanistan.
It started with a trip by electric powered boat before continuing by road to Ilminster and onto Yeovil, Glastonbury and Wells before heading to Trowbridge, Bath and Bristol.
Judy Gaden launches day four of the Olympic Torch relay
Judy Gaden, the mother of Corporal Tom Gaden who was killed in Afghanistan in 2009 began day four of the Olympic Torch relay in Taunton. She was nominated for her charity work and involvement in fund raising events for Help for Heroes and by arranging community fun days.
Day four of the relay began with a trip by electric powered boat before continuing by road to Ilminster. It will then travel to Yeovil en route to Bath and Bristol. Keep up to date with our street-by-street guide.
