Man suffers ‘potentially life-changing’ injuries in Keynsham three-car crash
A man suffered “potentially life-changing” injuries in a three-car crash in Keynsham.
The A4 Keynsham Bypass was shut for several hours after the pile-up happened between the Broadmead and Hicks Gate roundabouts.
It involved a Land Rover Defender, a Kio Niro and a black Ford Fiesta, with two men later taken to hospital for treatment.
The road was closed shortly after 7.30am and did not reopen for several hours.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: “We were called at 7.35am today (6 January) to a report of a collision involving three vehicles on the Keynsham Bypass, near the Broadmead Roundabout.
“Emergency services attended and officers closed the westbound Keynsham Bypass between the Broadmead and Hicks Gate roundabouts. The road has since reopened.
“Two men were taken to hospital for treatment, one of whom suffered injuries believed to be potentially life-changing, but not life-threatening.
