Woman dies after being hit by car on Tewkesbury pedestrian crossing

A woman in her 50s has died in hospital after being hit by a car in Gloucestershire.

Gloucestershire Police said the collision, involving the woman and a black Ford Kuga Zetec, took place on a pedestrian crossing on Oldbury Road, in Tewkesbury at about 2:25pm on December 15.

The woman was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment where she died eight days later.

Police said no-one has been arrested in connection with the incident.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage to contact the force.
