Man, 21, arrested on suspicion of arson after St Agnes house fire
A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a house fire.
Emergency services were called to reports of a fire at a property on Trelawney Road, in St Agnes, Cornwall, at about 6.40pm on Sunday 15 December.
Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said the ground floor of the two-storey property was "well alight" when crews from Perranporth, Tolvaddon and Truro arrived.
Everyone at the property was accounted for and no injuries were reported, they added.
Devon and Cornwall Police said a 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage, including arson and is in police custody. The force said enquiries are ongoing.
