B&M lorry driver dies in 'tragic' incident at Bristol warehouse
A lorry driver for B&M has died in a "tragic incident" at a warehouse in Bristol.
B&M confirmed that a driver for the company died in the early hours of Sunday 8 December.
Emergency services, including two ambulances and a hazardous area response team, were called to the scene in Avonmouth at 4.37am.
The Health and Safety Executive confirmed it is now leading an investigation into the incident.
A B&M spokesperson said: "We are deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.
"At this moment, we are working closely with the relevant authorities and conducting a thorough investigation to establish all the facts surrounding this tragic incident.
"In the meantime, our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with the family and loved ones affected during this incredibly difficult time."
