Body found near Bristol in search for missing person

Police officers searching for a missing person have found a body near Bristol.

Avon and Somerset Police were looking for 26-year-old Preston but confirmed they had found a body on Sunday afternoon (19 March).

Formal identification has not yet taken place but his next of kin have been informed.

Officers are not treating the death as suspicious and are continuing with enquiries on behalf of the coroner.
