Fire crews battle large blaze at a holiday park in Dorchester

Firefighters remain at the scene of a large blaze at a holiday park in Dorset.

Multuiple crews from Dorchester and Weymouth are on the scene of the fire, which is in the Warmwell area of Dorchester.

In a statement, Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service told ITV News: "We were called at 6.16am this morning about an incident on Warmwell Road, Crossways involving a lodge fire."

They said two crews from Dorchester and two crews from Weymouth attended the incident.

"Firefighters used three main lines and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire," they said.

Crews remain at the scene dampening down. There were no casualties.
