Man, 76, charged with rape of elderly woman in her own home in Gloucester

A man has been charged in connection with the rape of an elderly woman in her own home.

Gloucestershire Police were called to the Hucclecote area of Gloucester yesterday just after 5.20pm (5 March).

Eric Barton is due to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court tomorrow (7 March).

The 76-year-old Gloucester man has been charged with one count of rape.
