Teenage girl sexually assaulted in Cheltenham park - police appeal
Police have cordoned off a park in Cheltenham after reports a teenage girl was sexually assaulted.
Montpellier Gardens was sealed off after officers were called to the park around 6.20pm on December 11.
Gloucestershire Police said the girl is now being supported by specialist officers and partner agencies, while forensic enquiries will take place today (December 12).
Investigating officers have also been reviewing CCTV footage from the area.
They are now appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time, and may have witnessed anything suspicious, to come forward.
