Bristol's Great British Bake Off star creates Aardman's Shaun the Sheep gingerbread house

Bristol's own Great British Bake Off star Briony May Williams has baked an Aardman-themed gingerbread house to celebrate a Shaun the Sheep Christmas special airing this festive season.

Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas will air on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Bristol-based animation studio, Aardman, commissioned the Great British Bake Off Season 9 star to recreate the recognisable Mossy Bottom Farm made out of only gingerbread.

Briony described it as an "honour and a joy" to create the masterpiece as she is both a "Bristolian" and a "baker".

The edible farmhouse is is made to scale and is said to look just as it appears in the Christmas special - Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas -which will air on BBC 1.
