The family of a man who died in a car crash in Marlborough have issued a tribute in his memory.

James Dixey - known by his friends as Jim - was a passenger in the collision which involved three vehicles on the A346 at Burbage on Wednesday morning (1 December).

In an emotional statement, James’ loved ones have paid tribute to a "devoted family man" who "had time for everyone".

His wife, Kay, described him as her "hero, soulmate and best friend."

The family said: "James Dixey, lovingly known to all as Jim, was a devoted family man.

"He would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat and was a real family-orientated man. He will be sorely missed."

Wiltshire Police are appealing to anyone who may have information about the collision.

Anyone who can help is asked to call 101 and quote log number 31 of December 1.
