School pupil hurt in minibus crash on Cotswolds A44 as vehicle fails to stop

A school pupil has suffered cuts after a crash involving a school minibus and a lorry which failed to stop on the A44 in the Cotswolds.

Gloucestershire Police say the incident happened at about 4.50pm on Tuesday (November 30) on the Chipping Campden turning.

The child suffered cuts to their hand in the crash, but did not require medical treatment.

Police are now carrying out house-to-house enquiries and appealing to anyone who may have seen the crash.

A spokesperson from Gloucestershire Police said: "The vehicle which was involved is believed to be a white Iveco 7.5 tonne lorry with a short wheel base. The tanker was possibly yellow or copper in colour.

"Officers have been conducting CCTV and house-to-house enquiries in the area and anyone with information or footage they feel may be relevant is asked to get in contact with police."
