Elton John announces second date at Bristol’s Ashton Gate

Elton John has added a second Bristol concert to his farewell tour next year.

The new date - on Sunday, June 26 - will be the last time Elton will be seen on tour in Bristol and the South West.

He will perform at Ashton Gate on Wednesday, June 22 before finishing his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour on June 26.

‘Go out with a bang’

Elton said: “It’s the last time I will be touring and traveling the world… and I can’t wait to see you all one last time.

“I want to go out with a bang and say thank you and leave people thinking, ‘God I saw the last tour and it was fantastic."

Tickets will be available to buy from 10am on Thursday, December 2.

Ashton Gate’s Jenny Hutchinson added: “It is fantastic news that we’ve been able to secure a second concert date for what will undoubtedly be an incredible tour.

“As Elton has said, it will be the last chance to secure a ticket to what will be his final performance ever, here in the South West.”
