A vigil has been held at a car park in Leigham where missing teenager Bobbi-Anne McLeod was last seen.

The 18-year-old has not been seen since Saturday (20 November) but a body was discovered in South Devon, on Tuesday (23 November).

Hundreds turned out at the vigil held near Sheepstor Road to pay tribute to the teenager, including one of her neighbours, Chris Cooper.

He said: "You can tell by the turnout, there are no words that can describe what the community and family are feeling. It's just numb

"She deserves nothing but amazing tributes and I'm sure the tributes will pour in even more."

A chorus of applause rang out as balloons were released by members of the local community.

A fundraising page has already raised more than £12,000 to help support her family.

Further vigils have been planned to honour Bobbi-Anne as well as marches against women's violence.

Two men were arrested of murder following her disappearance - one has been released with no further action and a second man has been held for further questioning.
