Police called after man's body discovered on The Downs in Bristol

Police were called after a body of a man was discovered on The Downs in Clifton.

Officers were called at 11.20am on Thursday 6 May to the Circular Road area after concerns were raised over the welfare of a person.

Fire crews, police and ambulance attended and a man was found dead at the scene.

Avon and Somerset police have said that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
