Large gorse fire breaks out near Redruth

A large gorse fire broke out last night in the Wheal Uny area of Redruth.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue said it received reports at 9:30pm and crews fought the fire throughout the night.

Fire services are still on site damping down the area and checking for hotspots.
