Emergency services were called on Thursday 6 August after they say a driver 'had failed to negotiate' a bend in the road at Mawgan Porth.
The incident caused congestion on the B3276 near Merrymoor Inn as crews attended the scene.
Padstow Coastguard said emergency services have not been able to work out yet what caused of the vehicle to leave the road but the car was going slow enough not to activate the on board airbags.
The incident comes as police urged local residents and tourists are encouraged to act responsibly and respectfully when out this summer to help protect the county and its communities.
Neighbourhood policing inspector Rob Bolt said 'the recent hot weather has brought crowds of visitors and residents to our beaches and beauty spots, the majority of whom behave in a considerate and respectful way.'
