Massive Attack donate £10,000 to man attacked in racially aggravated hit and run

Bristol band Massive Attack have joined thousands around the world donating to the victim of a racially aggravated hit and run attack.
The 21-year-old known as K suffered serious injuries including a broken leg, nose and cheekbone after finishing his shift at nearby Southmead Hospital on July 22 at 4.30pm.
The band donated £10,000 to the GoFundMe page, which was set up to show solidarity to the musician and his family.
The page has now reached more than £56,000.

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and released under investigation.
Avon and Somerset Police said the incident is being treated as a racially aggravated attack due to racist language used by the two occupants of the car - who fled the scene.
The vehicle involved in the incident has been seized and police are awaiting the results of a forensic examination.
