Police break up rave in the Forest of Dean

Police have broken up a rave in the Forest of Dean.

Officers were called to the Speculation Car Park near Lydbrook and Parkend.

Two arrests were made for drug driving and two vehicles were seized.

Sound equipment has been removed and officers closed a number of surrounding roads to prevent more people from attending.

In a statement, Gloucestershire Police say the road closures "were as a result of intelligence which had been developed and identified that many of those attending were from outside the county".

Officers are asking anyone with information about the rave to contact them on 101 quoting incident 266.
