Hundreds turn out at tractor rally to remember young farmer who died near Beaminster
Hundreds of people have turned out at a tractor rally to support the family of a young man who died when his tractor overturned.
Agricultural vehicles, motorbikes and cars drove from Mosterton through to Beaminster town square in memory of Harry Isaacs.
Instead of a minutes silence, the convoy held a minute's noise to show their affection for the 20-year-old.
Harry Isaacs died after the small International Harvester tipper tractor he was driving down a country lane in Mosterton overturned last Tuesday (21 July) evening.
His family have released a tribute to him describing his energy as 'infectious' and 'his smile always lit up any room.
“We as Harry's family have suffered a great loss and words can't describe the pain we are feeling. Harry is a much loved son, brother, grandson and nephew. His smile always lit up any room and his energy was infectious. “Harry had much love for working in his local farming community and had great passion for the animals he cared for. In Harry's last months he fulfilled a lifelong dream to have a piece of land, his tractor and his beloved pony Coco. “Harry has many friends from Beaminster, Bridport and Sherborne who have truly shown their love and friendship for him during this sad time. Has family has been deeply touched by all the kind messages and tributes dedicated to Harry, which has given much comfort. “We would like to give all our gratitude and thanks to everybody. Harry Isaacs - a life taken too soon, sleep well our angel.”
A balloon release is also being planned for Sunday (26 July) at 3pm at Rocket Park in Sherborne.
The investigation into what caused the tractor to overturn is still being investigated by Dorset Police.
Anyone with any relevant dashcam footage who has not already spoken to police are being asked to get in contact.
