Inland surfing lake 'The Wave' to reopen in August
The UK's first inland surfing lake has announced it will reopen in August, after being forced to close in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Wave, in Easter Compton near Bristol, opened last year with state-of-the-art technology allowing people to surf away from the coast year-round.
However the £25 million attraction was only able to operate for five months before shutting.
From August 1st The Wave will reopen but with a number of changes:
Customers will have to pre-book
A new queueing system will be in place in the car park
There will be a new entry point and one-way system
Lessons will be limited to smaller groups
