Which outdoor pools are back open after easing of lockdown restrictions
Outdoor swimming pools in the West Country have been given permission to reopen but most are staying closed, with many saying they were not given enough notice.
Those who manage several of the open air pools have said they need time to implement new health and safety measures and are asking swimmers to be patient until they announce opening dates.
Portishead Open Air Swimming Pool has announced it will not be reopening for the rest of the season.
Chairman Jon Barr said the experience would be severely hampered by the new safety measures and it is not financially viable for them to reopen for a short season.
Open air sea pools such as Clevedon's Marine Lake and Bude Sea Pool are open and have been welcoming swimmers providing they follow social distancing.
