A Wiltshire couple say they should be entitled to rearrange their wedding date because they can't invite all their guests.

Rhianne Montgomery and Oliver Lucas invited 75 people to their big day at the Pear Tree in Purton near Swindon.

But current government guidance allows a maximum of 30 guests at the ceremony and no reception.

The couple tried to cancel and then postpone, their mid-September wedding, but the venue have refused saying that they believe receptions will be allowed by September and therefore won't refund their £5,600.

Consumer expert Katie Watts spoke to ITV News West Country presenter, Kylie Pentelow, about cancellation rights and planning a wedding during this time.

The Pear Tree, Purton has recently been redeveloped and says it has huge costs to repay.

They have had to cancel or postpone all weddings up to the end of August, wiping out most of their income this year.

In a statement, the Pear Tree told ITV News they expect new government guidance around weddings very soon, and are working to explore postponement options with their September couples.
