Emotional homecoming for Devon nurse after 93-day stay battling Covid-19
A nurse from Devon has received a special welcome home after a 93-day hospital stay battling coronavirus.
Amanda Mitchell from Holsworthy was applauded by members of the town after more than three months at North Devon District Hospital in Barnstaple.
She had also been applauded out of the hospital by staff and says she was "overwhelmed with the care".

It is understood the homecoming welcome was organised by one of Amanda's friends.

There have been many instances where hospital staff have applauded Covid-19 patients being discharged.
The hospital says Amanda's discharge "was a very special day".
