A series of music, cinema and theatre events are set to take place this summer at two West Country locations.

The former Filton Airfield on the edge of Bristol and Cheltenham Racecourse will host a range of performances.

Tony Hadley, Sigala and Gary Numan are all due to appear in Filton.

The former airfield and racecourse will be two of 12 locations across the UK hosting events.

'Live from the Drive-In' will run for six weeks from the end of July.

Russell Watson and Jack Savoretti are also set to play in Filton.

Tickets for the first events will go on sale on Monday (22 June) and more acts will be announced in the coming weeks.

Organisers say the events will adhere to "strict social distancing guidelines".

The capacity of each event will be capped to around 280 cars with spacing between.

There will also be "socially distant audience facilities".

Earlier this year plans to repurpose the Brabazon Hangars to create an arena were approved.
