Man reunited with wedding ring he lost while swimming in Clevedon lake
A man has been reunited with his wedding ring - after it came off while he was swimming in Clevedon.
Chris Bradley, from Bristol, was enjoying a day out at the town’s Marine Lake with his wife Tina and their two daughters when the ring slipped off his finger.
He was in the water at the time, and searched the lake extensively before giving up.
He said: "My daughters had coaxed me to go into the water. I had gone in up to my waist when they encouraged me to get right in so I did."
Chris then spotted a team of volunteers from the Marine Lake Enthusiasts (Marlens) group, who are responsible for the lake’s upkeep.

The 62-year-old said he was told the lake was due to be drained in the coming weeks, and to come back then.
Wearing wellies and gloves, Chris started searching in the mud near to where he thought he had lost his ring.
Marlens chairman Joe Norman said volunteers were delighted Chris had been reunited with his ring.
