Paraglider dies after crashing into overhead power cables in Eastington in Stroud
A paraglider has died after crashing into overhead power cables in Eastington near Stonehouse.
He has been named locally as Wayne Seeley.
Emergency services were called to Victoria Drive, where Mr Seeley, who was in his 40s, collided with the cables, at 1:24pm on Tuesday 2 June.
The impact caused a number of small fires in the area while more than a hundred homes have been left without power.

133 homes and businesses lost their power and residents were told power would not be restored until 7:30pm following a High Voltage fault.
However Western Power Distribution say it has managed to turn supplies back on to "most properties".
