Police find £300,000 worth of cannabis inside Bristol property as crackdown continues

A man has been arrested after police found around £300,000 worth of cannabis at a house in Bristol.

The discovery was made by officers at around 3pm on Thursday 28 May, at a house on Stapleton Road.

It followed information from a member of the public, which led to them finding cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £300,000.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a class B drug - he has been released under investigation.

The discovery was made by officers from the force working on Operation Remedy - a crackdown on burglaries, knife crime and drugs.
