A memorial bench has been vandalised in a Gloucester cemetery while mourners attended a nearby funeral.
Two men and a women were spotted on the bench shortly before it was found damaged at the Rose Garden in Coney Hill Cemetery and Crematorium.
Police are appealing for information to help identify the suspects.
The incident took place last Thursday, May 14, at around 10am.
An hour later staff at the cemetery discovered the bench had been severely damaged.
The bench was in memorial of Daisy Witchell, aged 86, who died in 1970. It was paid for by her late husband, Alfred.
At the time, a funeral was waiting to take place but investigating officers do not believe those responsible were part of the funeral.
The bench will be replaced by Gloucester City Council.
