Glastonbury Festival urge public to stay away from Worthy Farm during coronavirus lockdown

Glastonbury Festival organisers have asked the public to not visit Worthy Farm during lockdown.

A plea on their official website said: “Worthy Farm and its surrounding farms are private property and, given the current circumstances, the land used by Glastonbury Festival is closed to the public.

“Despite this, we have seen increasing numbers of visitors attempting to access the site used by the Festival."

Glastonbury's 50th anniversary festival was set to be held at Worthy Farm on the last weekend of June this year but was cancelled in March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
