Large queues as some of the West Country's recycling centres open their gates
Hundreds of cars queued for hours this morning as recycling centres in Bristol and Avonmouth opened for the first time in nearly two months.
Social distancing measures have been put in place as well as a new number plate system to keep numbers down.
Wiltshire has also opened some of its recycling centres.
After being shut for nearly two months - the St Philips recycling centre expected to be busy once it opened.
But that still didn't stop queues from forming, leaving many frustrated.
Measures had been introduced to ensure people were kept safe.
But the guidance from Bristol Waste states these visits were supposed to be for essential trips only.
