Driver from Liverpool on route to deliver puppy stopped by police in Gloucestershire
A driver from Liverpool was caught breaching lockdown rules by police in Gloucestershire.
They told officers they were on their way to deliver a puppy in Newport, South Wales.
Not accepting this an excuse, the Liverpudlian was given a warning letter and ordered to head back to the city.
Officers also stopped a camper van near Birdlip on its way through the county on holiday.
