Burger King restaurants to re-open in Bristol and Swindon during lockdown for deliveries only

Two Burger King restaurants in Bristol and one in Swindon have re-opened today for delivery services only.

It's part of a phased re-opening of more restaurants in the coming weeks after they closed when the lockdown started in March.

The company says they have a number of procedures in place to 'safeguard the health of both Burger King employees and customers.'

Bristol restaurants that will open are on Bath Road in Brislington and Eastgate.

The food chain says safety is it's number one priority, and to enable restaurants to re-open a number of procedures have been put in place to safeguard the health of both Burger King employees and customers.

The company also announced that 1,000 meals per week will be donated to staff working at NHS hospitals near to the re-opened restaurants.
