Police thank public as South West roads remain quiet
Police have thanked people who stayed at home over this long Easter Bank Holiday weekend as the motorways an A roads in the region remained incredibly quiet despite it being Easter Monday.
There were still some, however, who didn't get the message to stay home. A campervan from Bristol was stopped and turned back on its way through Devon.
Another driver was pulled over on the A30 in Cornwall. He said he was taking a break from his family. Police said his 170-mile round trip was not essential.
