Woman airlifted to hospital after car collides with pedestrians near Falmouth
A woman has suffered serious injuries and three others have been hurt after a car collided with pedestrians in Cornwall.
Police and an air ambulance were called to the village of Mylor Bridge, near Falmouth, at about 10:20am today [March 31].
The woman, who was one of the pedestrians, was airlifted to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.
Two other pedestrians and the elderly male driver of the car were also injured, though the extent of these injuries is not yet known.
Police remain at the scene and Lemon Hill has been closed, with drivers advised to avoid the area.
