Jennifer Robbins from Termar overcame not being able to see her mum on Mother's Day with an emotional 'Love Actually' style surprise message.
Her mum, Dominie Dempsey, is self-isolating in nearby Liskeard with health concerns over coronavirus.
The 63-year-old was preparing not to see her daughter on Mother's Day, but was left laughing and crying after her daughter appeared at her window with handwritten notes telling her 'to us, you are perfect'.
Jennifer's sister, Emily Dempsey, was part of the plan despite being in Yorkshire. She then recorded whole message on video whilst on the phone to her mum.
Jennifer said: "We made the decision not to risk seeing my mum anymore over the weekend following social distancing advice."
