Quick-thinking Devon woman herds loose flock of sheep into garden
A quick-thinking Devon woman has been praised after herding a loose flock of sheep into a garden while on her way to work.
Toni Underhill was heading to work on Tuesday (March 10) morning when she noticed eight sheep and lambs on the loose in Queen Elizabeth Drive in Paignton.
Keen to help, the 22-year-old stepped in and directed the sheep into someone’s garden.
A local farmer then collected the animals and took them to safety.
Toni said the farmer who arrived was not sure if they were his or not.
He took them away - with the help of his sheep dog - to have their tags checked to see who owns them.
She filmed them heading back out of the alleyway as they were taken away.
