Police in Bristol hunt 'culprit' who left 88-year-old woman on the floor after alleged burglary
An elderly woman is in hospital after she was found lying on the floor of her house in Bristol after allegedly being burgled.
The 88-year-old was found on the floor of her home in Brislington by a meals on wheels delivery person, on Wednesday 12 February.
They found the door open when they arrived.

The woman is still receiving treatment in hospital, although officers from Avon and Somerset Police say her condition is improving.
Police are treating the incident as an alleged burglary after family members realised cash and other items were missing from the house.
Officers are now carrying out enquiries in the area and have stepped up patrols in a bid to reassure local residents.
