Police seal off part of Exeter city centre following ‘sudden death’ incident

A man has died following an incident in Exeter city centre.

Police were called to Mary Arches Street by paramedics yesterday evening (February 5) following concerns for the welfare of a man.

He was unconscious when he was initially found but later died at the scene.

The area was subsequently sealed off while officers carried out an investigation.

The man's death is not being treated as suspicious.
