Police launch appeal after cockerels theft at Dorset farm

Police in Dorset are investigating a theft from a farm in Shaftesbury which five cockerels were taken.

The cockerels are rare breeds of show birds which are believed to be worth £300 each.

Police say the birds were taken between eleven in the morning and close to nine on the 18th January from a secured outbuilding in the Mampitts Lane area.
