Bird with scissors in neck found in Plymouth

A dead bird with broken scissors cutting into its neck has been found in Plymouth.

The goldfinch bird was discovered by a passerby in Wesley Avenue who alerted the RSPCA.

The RSPCA are appealing for information. If you saw anything unusual in Wesley Avenue on Monday (January 20) or if you think you might know what happened to this bird, then contact the RSPCA inspectorate appeal line on 0300 123 8018.
