Yeovil Hospital's A&E set to benefit from £1.1 million extension to meet rising demand
Yeovil Hospital's A&E will be extended this year to accommodate the rising number of people attending the department for treatment.
In the past three years the number of patients needing treatment has increased by 28%.
Now a £1.1 million extension promises to increase capacity - with added bays to meet the rising demand.
The money will also be used to build a new space to care for children with mental health issues.
