120 people evacuated from their homes after fire at a Bristol kebab shop

A kebab shop in Bristol has been destroyed after a fire took hold in the middle of the night.

One hundred and twenty residents had to leave their flats above the shop while firefighters battled to bring the blaze under control.

The blaze started in Chill Grill kebab shop in Redcliffe yesterday evening (January 1). As the fire spread, residents of Waring House fled to safety on the street. No one was injured.
