Cat from Weston-super-Mare lucky to be alive after travelling 10 miles under car bonnet

A cat from Weston-super-Mare is incredibly lucky to be alive after getting trapped inside a car engine bay and travelling 10 miles.

Ronnie, four, ended up in Winscombe after climbing under a car bonnet.

He was found when the car owner heard him meowing and alerted the RSPCA.

If it wasn't for his microchip, Ronnie may not have been discovered and returned to his very relieved owner.

The RSPCA is urging pet owners to make sure their contact details are kept up-to-date so microchips work as they should.
