An appeal by Bodmin Police on social media stated: “Unfortunately Tilly’s owner was involved in an RTC near to Blisland/Waterloo this morning, and in the meantime Tilly has gone missing from the vehicle.

"She's likely to still be in the area, but please keep an eye out if you’re out and about.

"Tilly is a two-year-old dachshund and a little nervous around strangers. If you have any news please pop a comment below or get in touch with her owner Kate Heywood."

In a similar post, Kate said her dog was last seen heading for home approximately one mile from the accident in Blisland village.

Anyone who sees Tilly is asked to contact Bodmin Police or owner Kate via Facebook.
