Woman seriously injured after bus collision in central Bristol
A woman was seriously injured following a collision with a bus in central Bristol.
The woman was hit by a First bus near the junction with Baldwin Street and Broad Quay on Monday (Nov 25) evening.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to free the woman, who suffered a serious ankle injury in the collision.
She was subsequently taken to hospital, where she remains in stable condition.
The incident saw a huge emergency presence in the city centre and brought traffic to a standstill.
More than 20 buses were pictured queuing at the scene while the road was closed for nearly three hours.
