Inquest opens into death of mother and teenage daughter killed after tree fell on car in Cotswolds
An inquest has opened into the death of a mother and her teenage daughter who were killed when a tree fell on their car in the Cotswolds.
Elaine Reason, 56, and her 16-year-old daughter Grace were travelling on the B4077 at Stanway Hill, near Toddington, when the tree fell at around 10pm on 21 November.
In a statement their family said they had "lost two amazing family members".
A fundraising page set up for the family has reached its target in just a few days, with more than £5000 raised.
The road remained closed north of Ford and at the Toddington roundabout for more than 20 hours after the incident as emergency services carried out recovery and investigation work.
